The computer requirement for running Stellar Magic Pro is Windows XP SP1 or later. The minimum memory requirement is 512 Megabytes, but for handling large numbers of megapixel images  more memory is desirable. The current software version is 1.08.

The program is provided as a sef-installing executable. It may be necessary to have administrator priveleges on your computer in order to install it. (After installation please consult the README file in the program folder.)

Stellar Magic Pro provides a 14 day evaluation period. During the evaluation period  the program displays an identification number and requests a corresponding activation number. After the evaluation period it cannot be operated without the activation number. The activation number requires a payment of $30. Payment must be made through PayPal.

To receive the activation number send an email containing the Stellar Magic identification number, your name and address, and the date of the PayPal transaction to support@Stellar-Magic.com

Freeware:

The freeware version of Stellar Magic functions under any version of Windows . It is fully functional, easy to use, and has about 80% of the features present in the more sophisticated shareware version. The current version of the freeware is 7.65, and has added the capability of saving colored images as FITS files.

Tutorial:

The tutorial is written specifically for Stellar Magic Pro and  provides detailed and illustrated  instructions on using the program's features beyond those available in the Help menu.

The features in the freeware version will function identically in the cases where the feature is available.
